In 2018, PeopleDoc is embarking on many initiatives to transform the employee experience, specifically the user experience your employees have when they interact with HR services and operations teams. We believe that by removing the hassle of finding work-related information, employees feel cared for and can focus on using their skills to create value for your company. By providing a better user experience for your employees, the portal becomes the go-to channel for employees to get support from HR teams.
As a first step on this journey, we decided to take the opportunity to update our existing Knowledge Portal to bring your employees a more modern, friendly user interface. In Knowledge Portal 2.0, your employees will leverage the same great functionality as before, with a more intuitive and attractive interface.
What Should I Expect? There are 6 key areas that we focused on to improve the user experience.
Modern and Friendly User Interface: Friendly, clean, readable, and easy to use.
Search: The shortest and preferred path for employees to get answers - and we've now put it front and center!
Easy Reading Experience: Offering a great article reading experience. And just like the 1.0 version, you can enrich the content with text formatting, videos, images, links and HTML, making it easy for employees to find relevant information.
Easy Category Browsing: This section now provides an overview of the available categories of content, and insights on the information they offer.
Important Content Highlighted: Pin critical content on the homepage to increase its visibility and usefulness.
Mobile Friendly: A new responsive menu and adapted responsive behaviors.
