2020: What a year!
Throughout 2020, we merged with Ultimate Software and Kronos to become UKG, hosted a User Group event in Las Vegas, created countless customer resources, and had some fun of our own behind the scenes!

PeopleDoc Hosts Annual User Group Meeting at Connections in Las Vegas

In March, we hosted our annual PeopleDoc User Group in conjunction with Ultimate Connections in Las Vegas at the Wynn and Encore Resort.

Photos from Connections

Our customers enjoyed an inspirational keynote speaker from Michelle Obama, self-improvement and leadership sessions, and a private concert with Michael Bublé, and networking with the thousands of other HR practitioners in attendance.

The event was tailored to our PeopleDoc customers and included customer-led demos and best practice sessions, product vision and roadmap presentations, and interactive workshops.

Customers traveled from near and far to share their experience

We became UKG!

In October, our combined company’s name became UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) and adopted a new tagline: Our Purpose is People.

A note from our CEO, Aron Ain: “Our new brand is rooted in our combined passion and history of focusing on people at work. We believe the UKG brand represents our continued commitment to our employees, customers, and their employees—while at the same time giving us a modern new identity for our future together as one organization.”

We’ve kept busy, writing over 50 posts on The PeopleDoc Blog!

It’s hard to pick but here are a few of our favorites from 2020.

Our suitcases collected dust as we switched to virtual events

We gathered in Las Vegas, NV to take part in a PeopleDoc user group during the Ultimate Connections conference. The week included great customer sessions from Teva Pharmaceuticals, Wolters Kluwer, Zimmer Biomet, and PennyMac, in addition to a ton of fun including a private concert from Michael Buble.

During the HR Shared Services Transformation Summit fellow PeopleDoc customer, Thornton Guthrie Jr., shared how Zimmer Biomet used People Assist (formerly Employee Case Management) to rapidly respond to COVID-19 by building an HR call center—within 48 hours!

Did you join our PeopleDoc Virtual User Group? Fellow PeopleDoc customer, Micah Seppanen, shared how Puget Sound Energy is using PeopleDoc Advanced Analytics (powered by Lookr) as an integral part of the company's HR strategy. He shared several best practices that other customers could implement.

While attending hundreds of sessions virtually throughout the week of the HR Technology Conference, over 450 HR leaders also “went home” with a copy of “The Future Leader” by Jacob Morgan and PeopleDoc swag bags.

Lights, camera, action!

Our customers took center stage to speak on behalf of PeopleDoc.

Behind the scenes with PeopleDoc!

Virtual stretches, paint night, and cookie decorating

Our very own Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, Ashley Feller, hosted a (very needed) weekly mid-day stretching class.

Together, we learned about surrealist art and how to paint our own masterpieces (we’ll stick to our day jobs).

We became master cookie decorators through an online class. Well, at least they tasted good.

We look forward to continuing our adventure with you! Thank you for your trust and see you next year!
